What does livable luxury mean?
Luxury is a word we come back to and dance around periodically here at HVLG. On one end of our spectrum, you have Mitzi, making high design attainable. On the other, you have Corbett, making layered, high-impact art you hang in your home—and hey, what do you know, it lights things, too! In our farmhouse luxe post, we looked to a rather philosophical Italian cultivator of cashmere for a definition; in our post on Rethinking the Man Cave, we considered the context of our current culture's incessant demands and talked about luxury as doing just one thing at a time in a space dedicated to it.
Today, we want to talk about luxury as a part of your home décor, but making it comfortable, as this is your day-in day-out space. We'll look to a few glamorous women with major followings on Instagram as they share pics of their home and talk about what livable luxury means to them.
